Animal observation
We traveled to Senegal for 20 days in February - March 2022. We were accompanied by our naturalist and ornitologist friends. Indeed, the birds, during their migration, pass through Senegal, which makes it a magnificent destination for bird enthusiasts! We spent more than 3 weeks observing the animals, identifying them, counting them, contemplating them. We spent 8 days in the Sine Saloum Delta aboard a canoe to observe birds, mongooses, hyenas, it was an extraordinary experience. We then headed towards the Niokolo Koba park, which is not very touristy, where you can observe lions, warthogs, hippopotamuses, antelopes, monkeys... We ended our stay in Dindefelo, a border town with Guinea, to find a more green and less stifling heat. It was a great trip with lots of extraordinary animal encounters!
