Summer 2017. I went to the island of La Réunion for my internship where I worked for Martine and Mongi Sliti, at the Sliti farm, "Domaine des caféiers". I worked in the field of the "Bourbon Pointu" coffee, the best coffee in the world (This is not a joke. Duh). It was such an enriching experience with lovely people. Martine, Mongi and their friend Stephane who helps them know many things about botany. I learnt a lot with them. And their family was as well adorable. People from Reunion are so nice and open minded. I hope I will be able to travel to this island again. Maybe in order to work there, who knows. There are a loooooot of hiking possibililies on the island. I hiked by my own in the heart of the cirques of la Réunion. And it was astonishing. Splendid. It was one of the best experiences I had in my entire life. Wonderful landscapes. Extraordinary meetings. A poweful nature. This is the intense island.
